Geneva World Premier for the new Carlsson smart

The smallest star in Carlsson’s firmament, a completely personalised smart 453, makes its world premier in Geneva. Further up the scale, Carlsson-tuned versions of the C-Class AMG Sport Package and S-Class will show off their enhanced exterior and interior appointments. Carlsson’s C25 Super GT has always wowed the crowds. The “Final Edition” of this exclusive car will be on show in the Vredestein Competence Lounge section of the stand. This joint exhibit underlines the successful on-going partnership between Carlsson and Vredestein that has resulted in the development of Mercedes specific high performance tyres. An example of this co-operation is the Ultrac Vorti tyre developed for the new C-Class. This tyre, which features a specific tread compound, carries the Carlsson logo on its sidewalls. The synergy between Carlsson and motorsport is embodied in their customer-racing programme. At Geneva, an SLS AMG GT3, resplendent in the livery of the Carlsson SLK340 JUDD hill climb racecar, will represent this aspect of Carlsson’s activities. Carlsson luxury in 2.70 m How much luxury can you pack into 2.70 meters? Carlsson provides the answer with their new smart fortwo (453). Labelled Carlsson CK10, the distinctive aerodynamic components and alloy wheels of this tiny wonder make it stand out from the crowd. The 17-inch Carlsson 1/16 DS alloy wheels fill out the wheel arches, while Carlsson sport springs lower the ride height, giving the car a more purposeful stance. The Carlsson front spoiler and rear roof spoiler deliver a sleeker look and aid stability at speed. A matching rear valance, with cut-outs for the four-tailpipe sports exhaust, completes the sporty look. The bespoke interior, upholstered in the finest leather trim, is befitting of a small luxury car. Carlsson customers can specify a wide variety of colours and finishes to make their car truly individual.  CC22 for AMG Sport C-Class The CC22 bootlid badge is the mark of a C-Class with AMG Sport package, upgraded with Carlsson’s distinctive aerodynamics package, alloy wheels and suspension. The Carlsson aero package adds a new lip to the AMG front spoiler, while at the rear, a bootlid spoiler and underbody diffuser rebalance the cars aerodynamics. The Carlsson sports exhaust’s two pairs of polished tailpipes flank the diffuser. The 30mm lower ride height for better handling and looks is achieved with the Carlsson sport spring kit. A fully adjustable coil-over suspension kit is available for the more hard-core driver. Carlsson wheels for the C-Class come in several designs and finishes, starting with the 1/10 Brilliant Edition and Titanium Edition in 18, 19 and 20-inch sizes. The 1/10 Graphite Edition can be ordered in 19 and 20 inches. The alternative Carlsson wheel design is the 1/16 RS, in Diamond and Titanium Editions, sized in 18, 19 and 20 inches. All these wheels can be bought separately or with tyres as a complete set. Carlsson’s motto, “The best, in a different way” also applies to the interior where an owner can choose from a wide range of colours and materials for the upholstery and trim. New for 2015 Carlsson presents its own interpretation of Mercedes’ modern luxury slogan for the S-Class. The transformation starts with 21-inch alloy wheels in either the 1/5 EVO II Finish Diamond Edition or the 1/12 EVO Platinum Edition disc design.  The new front bumper/spoiler of the Carlsson aerodynamic styling kit for the S-Class is distinguished by distinctive air intakes on both sides and the Carlsson RS-style spoiler lip. Stylised air outlets on the front wings, and elegantly sculpted side skirts emphasise the appearance of the cars flanks. The Carlsson rear spoiler completes the aerodynamic addenda, and trapezoid shaped outlets perfectly integrate the sports exhaust into the new rear valence. Carlsson’s C-Tronic electronic suspension lowering module is available for vehicles with both Airmatic and ABC (with or without Magic Body Control) suspension. Carlsson offers performance upgrades for both petrol and diesel S-class models, while exclusive interior enhancements are limited only by the customer's imagination. C25 Final Edition Design, engineering, craftsmanship and performance: The Final Edition of Carlsson’s exclusive, hand-built C25 Super GT is powered by a 450hp V8, but the mighty 753hp Carlsson V12 is available as an option. Among C25 highlights are its carbon-fibre body, optional carbon-ceramic brake system, iPhone control for the C-Tronic suspension with. The twin tailpipe trims machined from billet aluminium are an elegant and sporty finishing touch.  With just one car allocated to each country, Carlsson guarantees the utmost individuality for each C25 owner. And as the paint colour and interior appointments are specified in the manner of haute couture tailoring, no two cars are alike.
