It was time for a new means of transport. The bearded lucky charm will surely beam with joy over a suitable set of wheels, and the Dotz barn way up north just happens to be hiding a gem. With 669 hp and 780 Nm, respectively, the tried and tested DD1 Drifter is just the right thing for a busy man of the world, given that he is hard-pressed for time when distributing the countless number of gifts. Sideways magic The Tyrolean Alps live up to their cliché, offering Santa aka racer Dominic Tiroch a perfect setting to give free reign to his magical powers. And the barn door goes open! Open sleigh was yesterday, and the aroma of cookies has been replaced with the smell of petrol. SANTA demonstrates break-neck manoeuvres and massive drifts. Despite temperatures that would make the North Pole proud and squall-like snowfall, the Dotz crew captured breath-taking images of the gift express. In other roles you can see an Austrian Nordmann fir for enhanced cornering as well as a parcel distribution system featuring an automatic cornering launch device.
