AEZ Forged Series. Premium quality makes all the difference
Tradition and modernism often lie
close to each other. Sometimes they are even combined in one, ultimate
product. With the AEZ Forged Series, AEZ has entered the premium class
of light alloy wheels. The AEZ Steam.forged is the first AEZ forged
wheel with ECE approval, making it completely free of approval to the
Tesla Motors S and X models.  Forged aluminium wheels have a long tradition. The automotive industry initiated first tests as early as in the 1930s. Ever since then, a lot has happened. The reduction to the maximum Forged alloy wheels have their origin in racing and motorsports. As reasons we can cite high stability, a very low weight and, as a result, perfect suitability for the sporty rider. This gives the forged wheel an advantage over cast alloy wheels, and despite higher costs many car owners get convinced because the forged wheel embodies ultimate refinement. Vehicle individualisation can also lead to lengthy single vehicle approval processes. This is not the case with the new AEZ Steam.forged with ECE approval. Care-free refinement AEZ offers the Steam.forged as a staggered fitment in the dimensions 8.5x21 and 9x21 for the S model and in 9x22 and 10x22 for the X model, exclusively for electric Tesla cars. Weight plays a vital role for the sporty Tesla Motors cars. Therefore, in a first step, with its Forged.Series AEZ is focusing on these cars to guarantee pure performance.  Sustainable future of mobility The developments in the past years have clearly demonstrated the measures for a new mobility. Due to the highest material properties, forged wheels, amongst other things, play an increasingly important role in the future requirements of the automotive sector. Maximum weight optimisation The source material aluminium 6061 T6 is used predominantly in the light-weight constructions of the aviation industry, offering the best prerequisites for forged wheels. Technically, with the new wheel, AEZ taps all possibilities, providing a wheel with elegantly backed-off spokes and optimised overall performance. Despite a 30-percent weight reduction AEZ manages high loads, at the same time increasing the range.  This is made possible by a sophisticated forging technology that reaches higher strengths at lower material thickness compared to usual alloy rims. Both visually and technically, AEZ takes a step further and refines the light alloy rim with a ceramic finish. On top of that, the wheel gets an ultra-hard, transparent acrylic coat to protect the finish. AEZ
