Just in time for the GTI's 45th birthday: OETTINGER Aerodynamic parts for the icon
It is the icon among compact sports cars and therefore closely linked to the history of Volkswagen and the renowned tuner OETTINGER - the Golf GTI. Just in time for the 45th birthday of the successful Wolfsburg model, the tuner from Friedrichsdorf in Hessen presents aerodynamic parts for the VW Golf 8 GTI. The range includes a front spoiler and roof spoiler as well as a rear diffuser; all tested in the wind tunnel. These aerodynamic parts will soon be available at Volkswagen Accessories and can be ordered via the Volkswagen partners.  To this day, the passion for the Golf and especially the GTI remains unbroken at OETTINGER. At the 1977 Frankfurt International Motor Show, a sensational prototype that electrified the masses could be marvelled at on the OETTINGER stand: the world's first mass-production vehicle with 16 valves. The 1.6-litre engine produced an incredible 136 hp. In time for the 45th GTI birthday, OETTINGER presents its aerodynamic programme for the eighth generation of the compact sports car. It includes a front spoiler, roof spoiler, as well as a rear diffuser. All parts are manufactured from high-quality RIM in original equipment quality, are easy to fit and are exempt from entry in the vehicle papers.  First pictures now give fans of the icon a glimpse of the successful refinement programme. A VW GTI Performance equipped with springs from OETTINGER motorsport partner H&R is shown fitted with the new front spoiler (5H0.071.606.A). This is designed to reduce lift. The striking roof spoiler (5H0.071.644.C) and the rear diffuser (5H0.071.610.A) accentuate the silhouette and give the hot hatchback a club sport look. Twinspoke 7.5 x 19 ET 51 alloy wheels from the Volkswagen Accessories range are mounted on the Golf 8 GTI, on the driver's side in Red Edition finish (5G0.071.499. YA5), on the passenger's side in Gloss Black finish (5G0.071.499. FZZ).  The OETTINGER aerodynamic components are supplied primed and can be painted to customer specification in the vehicle colour or gloss black. All mentioned parts can be ordered via the Volkswagen partners. The aerodynamic programme for the Golf 8 derivatives will be successively expanded.
