First race in the new BMW M4 Competition in Greinbach: The Red Bull Driftbrothers start with ST suspensions

Soon, it is finally time again. On July 10, 2021, the Drift Masters European Championship celebrates its kick-off event 2021 in Greinbach, Austria. The brothers Elias and Johannes "Joe" Hountondji, aka Red Bull Driftbrothers, will also be among the participants. The friendly Swabians reinforced the drift activities of KW automotive’s brand ST suspensions in Europe since the beginning of 2021. In addition to Steve "Baggsy" Biagioni from Great Britain, the suspension manufacturer collaborates worldwide with various drifters such as Ken Gushi and Dai Yoshihara in Formula D in the USA. In 2021's season, Elias and Johannes Hountondji will both participate with a BMW that was entirely adapted for drifting based on the current M4 (G82) Competition. More at www.st-suspensions.net

Over the past years, drifting has become more and more professional in Germany. The Red Bull Driftbrothers’ career also reflects this development. While at the beginning of their career, they were drifting with modified BMW E30 and later with Nissan Coupés in various championships, a new era begins for the two brothers in 2021. They will compete with two new BMW M4 (G82) Competition on July 10 at the season opener of the Drift Masters European Championship in Greinbach (Styria), Austria. Both BMW M4 were redesigned in collaboration with BMW M GmbH for professional drift use. Nearly all aerodynamic components were specifically manufactured in the BMW M prototype production facility and some of them were enhanced with BMW M Performance components. The modified BMW M4 straight-six engines can achieve over 1,000 hp. A ST suspensions labeled 3-way adjustable KW Competition racing suspension in "Drift-Spec, is used to guarantee maximum traction. The Driftbrothers have already been participating in the European Drift Masters Championship since 2018. In 2017 they were King of Europe Champion and Vice-Champion and they also won the Team Championship in 2016 and 2017. For more information, please visit www.st-suspensions.net.
