With the first pictures and a video clip, the renowned Volkswagen tuner OETTINGER builds up the anticipation for its brand new aerodynamic programme for the Golf 8 R, currently the fastest and most powerful member of the Golf family. The easy-to-fit and EU-certified kit is manufactured from RIM in original equipment quality. The programme includes a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser wing, downforce flaps for the front wings, as well as two roof spoiler variants and can be pre-ordered now.
 
OETTINGER and Volkswagens Golf. The two are historically closely linked. For the 20th birthday of the Golf R, the tuner from Friedrichsdorf, with a long history, launches its customisation programme for the most powerful model from Wolfsburg. The first pictures show a lowered Golf 8 R with the customised OETTINGER aerodynamic package on proprietary OETTINGER forged wheels weighing eight kilogrammes. All aerodynamic components are manufactured from high-quality RIM in original equipment quality and are easy to fit. All parts are EU certified and require no additional inspection or registration in the vehicle documents.

The complete aerodynamic package includes a front spoiler (790 Euro) and dive planes (350 Euro) for the front apron. Both will reduce lift on the Golf 8 R. The tuner accentuates the side view with a striking side skirt set (725 Euro), which is fitted below the standard skirts. The OETTINGER range also includes a rear diffuser wing (495 Euro). This has been specially designed for R models without a towing hitch.
 
Golf 8 R with or without R-Performance Package? The tuning experts at OETTINGER know that both can be visually refined. For Golf R models with the R-Performance package, the Friedrichsdorf-based company also offers a beautifully designed additional wing (425 Euro). Models without the R-Performance package can be optionally upgraded with an impressive OETTINGER roof spoiler (425 Euro), which is already available for the GTI-Basic-model.

 
The complete OETTINGER Golf 8 R Aerodynamic Package will be available in the 1st quarter of 2023. The primed version costs 2,785 Euro. For a further 1,090 Euro, the kit can also be ordered in gloss black. Pre-orders are being accepted as of now. As part of a special offer until 31st October 2022, OETTINGER is granting a 20 per cent discount on the list price for the complete OETTINGER Golf 8 R aerodynamic package.
